Borzna

City on the international highway Kiev-Moscow. On the outskirts, two Scythian burial mounds were found, traces of the Chernyakhov culture, a settlement of the period of Ancient Rus. The current city was founded in the 16th century, received the Magdeburg Law in 1634, at the same time there was a fortress. Released from the Poles in 1648, became the center of the Borznyanskaya Hundred, then the powiat. The State Agricultural Technical School was founded in 1898 as a gardening school. There is a museum "The Manor of the Artist A.Saenko", a historical museum.

Місто на міжнародній трасі Київ-Москва. На околицях знайдені два скіфські кургани, сліди черняхівської культури, городище періоду Київської Русі. Нинішнє місто засноване в XVI ст., Магдебурзьке право отримало в 1634 році, в цей же час існувала фортеця. Звільнене від поляків в 1648 році, стало центром Борзнянської сотні, потім повіту. Державний сілогсптехнікум заснований в 1898 році як школа садівництва. Діють музей "Садиба художника А. Саєнко", історичний музей.
